On , Joseph-Bernardin Fualdès, French magistrate, public prosecutor, judge of the criminal court of Aveyron and imperial prosecutor was brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances. His body was found floating in the Aveyron. One of France’s centuries old unsolved murders.
