We left the hustle and bustle of Istanbul centre and spent 2+ weeks with the most adorable cats you are ever likely to meet. Lewey was defintiely the baby and huey the ‘patient’ big brother… sometimes!

Princes’ Islands
With a couple of free nights at the end of a fantastic pet and home sit, we settled upon a full days visit to Princes’ Islands. We weren’t disappointed Not only was the 90 minute each way on the Bosphorous a brillliant way to see a lesser known, tradition part of Turkey (Including the Asian side), but the ferry fare was super affordable at £5.40 (116 TRY) return!
The Princes’ Islands – Princes’ Archipelago; lies off the coast of Istanbul in the Sea of Marmara. 4 Islands are open to the public:, Buyukada, Kinahada, Burgazada, Heybelia. The ferry stops at each port. We disembarked at Buyukada which was virtually car free (except for electric vehicles, making it the destination of choice for thousands of Turkish holidaymakers.
