Broughty Ferry is Dundee’s historic seaside village on the north bank of the Firth of Tay.
Comprising of an eclectic mix of villas and fishermens cottages, Broughty Ferry is a destination that should be on everyone’s bucket list
Broughty Castle
Broughty Castle is free to enter. Inside you will find artifacts, a gallery and an observation deck. Well worth a visit.
In the Village
Just off the High Street, you will find Broughty Ferry Community Garden.
On the corner of Dundee Road and Victoria Road is a stone wall with a plaque in memory of princess Charlotte Augusta, who died in 1817.
The Royal Arch is a traditional locally owned pub in the centre of Broughty Ferry. The lager was served with a smile, by Daniel, who further impressed by his keeping the log burner burning bright. Not every day in May is warm.
